Van wrapping in Manchester with Auto Wrap Manchester is priced by coverage: cut vinyl lettering, a part wrap, a full printed wrap or a modular wrap. The final figure depends on the size of the van, how much of it is covered, the vinyl used and whether you need design work. Fleet pricing comes down as the numbers go up.
We’ve been wrapping trade vans at our Trafford Park unit since 2014, with design, print and installation all done in-house.
Your four options for a van wrap
1. Cut vinyl lettering and logos
Your name, logo, phone number and website cut from solid colour vinyl and applied straight to the van’s own paint. It’s the quickest and cheapest way to get a plain van working for you. See our van signage page for examples.
2. Part wrap
Printed graphics on the areas people actually see (usually the rear doors and a band along each side) with the van’s own paint doing the rest. Works best when the base colour already suits your brand.
3. Full printed wrap
Every visible panel covered in printed, laminated vinyl. Biggest impact, hides the base colour completely, and protects the paint underneath, which matters on a lease van you’ll hand back.
4. Modular wrap
The design is split into printed panels fitted as separate pieces rather than one continuous skin. A damaged section gets swapped rather than the whole side, and the look stays the same across different van models. See our modular wraps page and, for several vehicles, our fleet signage page.
Van wrap cost: what the price depends on
| Option | Guide price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Cut vinyl lettering | Quoted per vehicle | Plain vans that need a name and number fast |
| Part wrap | Quoted per vehicle | Strong branding on a budget |
| Full printed wrap | Quoted per vehicle | Maximum impact, colour change, lease vans |
| Modular wrap | Quoted per vehicle | Fleets, quick repairs, mixed van models |
These are guide figures and every job is quoted individually. What moves the number:
- Van size. A Fiat Scudo or Mercedes eCitan uses far less vinyl than a long-wheelbase high-roof van.
- Coverage. Lettering, part or full, and whether the roof, bonnet and door shuts are included.
- Vinyl. We print on 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF and Hexis films.
- Design. Print-ready artwork keeps design time minimal; a livery designed from scratch is added to the job.
- Condition. Old graphics that need removing add prep time.
- Number of vehicles. Repeat designs across a fleet bring the per-van price down.
We also offer 0% finance over 3, 6 or 12 months with a low deposit.
Lead times and what to send for a quote
Once artwork is signed off we confirm your install date. Fitting time depends on coverage, and the van needs to arrive clean.
To quote accurately, send us:
- The number of vehicles
- The make and model of each
- Your deadline
- Your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) plus brand colours
- Photos of the vans if they’re not new
- The coverage you’re thinking of, or your budget
Use the free quote form or call 0161 672 7376 and we’ll come back with a price and a date.
Design, print and install in one place
We design, print and fit at our own unit in Trafford Park, so colours, sizes and panel positions are checked by the people who apply the vinyl. If something needs tweaking on the day, we reprint it here.
Every full wrap comes with a 12-month workmanship warranty, extendable up to 3 years with our Bronze, Silver and Gold warranty packages.

Yates Mercedes eCitan electric van livery
A printed livery for Yates on a Mercedes eCitan electric van. Compact vans like this suit a wrap well: the finished van is a moving billboard for a modest spend.
DC Electrical Fiat Scudo modular wrap
DC Electrical’s Fiat Scudo was done as a modular wrap. If a panel picks up damage on site it’s one piece to replace rather than a full re-wrap, which is exactly what a working trade van needs.
Stratstone Iveco dealer-group livery
Dealer group livery for Stratstone on an Iveco. It’s the same in-house process whether it’s one vehicle or a run of them.
We’ve also wrapped fleets for EDGE Decorators, Cheshire Cycle Care, PoolLeak Partner, C1 Clearance and Emmaus Salford. See our commercial wraps hub.
How long a van wrap lasts and how to look after it
Quality vinyl with proper care lasts 5 to 7+ years for gloss, matte and satin finishes. Chrome effects last 2 to 3 years.
Care is simple: hand wash, avoid brush car washes that drag grit across the edges, and don’t leave bird droppings or diesel spills sitting on the vinyl. Our guide on looking after a vinyl wrap applies just as well to a van. And because a wrap is reversible, the original paint is intact when the lease ends.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to wrap a van in Manchester?
With Auto Wrap Manchester the price depends on whether you choose cut vinyl lettering, a part wrap or a full printed wrap. Van size, coverage, vinyl and design work all move the final figure, so every job is quoted individually.
How long does it take to wrap a van?
Fitting time depends on coverage, and we confirm the lead time from artwork sign-off to your install date when you book. Tell us your deadline when you get in touch and we’ll plan around it.
Can you wrap a leased van?
Yes. Vinyl is reversible and protects the paint underneath, so the van can be returned in its original colour at the end of the lease. Check your lease agreement for any wording about graphics, but wrapping is very common on leased trade vans.
Do I need my own design?
No. If you have a logo we can design the livery in-house. If you already have print-ready artwork, send it over and we’ll check it for size and colour before printing.
What’s the difference between a modular wrap and a full wrap?
A full wrap covers the van in continuous printed vinyl. A modular wrap breaks the design into separate printed panels that are fitted as individual pieces, which makes repairs quicker and keeps the look consistent across a fleet of different van models.
